Bread & Butter is just around the corner and once again the biggest European fashion tradeshow ensures not to be confused with anybody else in this game. Their Sport & Street division collaborated for the upcoming show with Clae. The US footwear brand celebrates their 10th anniversary in 2011 and thus it was the perfect occasion for the two to get together. They chose the Romare Hi and took this season’s Bread & Butter Sport & Street “Winter Village” theme as inspiration. The outcome is a solid looking suede brown mid top sneaker with nice embroidery accents. The sneaker will be released next week, with only 10 of the overall 100 pairs being sold to the public.

Matching this beautiful sneaker, Bread & Butter “Sport & Street” also worked with New Era on an earflap version of their iconic 59Fifty fitted cap.  The cap features a wool green upper with patch embroidery and brown earflap.

We take an early look at the Clae Spring/Summer 2011 Collection. Several familiar styles are reworked in spring-ready colors and materials, making for lovely seasonal footwear. We know you may have seen the Kennedy in wool and Stayhorn in Chestnut leather before (as Holiday 2010 releases) but these are actually considered part of Spring/Summer 2011 due to their delivery times.  Those two pieces are available now at retailers and clae.com, while the rest will ship in late January.

CLAE fills us in on two new drops for the Holiday 2010 season, including updated colorways in the brand’s Stayhorn and Kennedy. While the Kennedy takes on a sporty wool charcoal grey colorway, the more dressy Strayhorn comes equipped in a versatile brown full-grain leather. Both shoes are hitting retail accounts now, with availability through the CLAE online store more than expected.

The CLAE Whitman is back in new autumnal colorways for the label’s close of the year collection. The Whitman sneaker is a contemporary blend of dressier shoes and tennis sneakers. Taking detailing inspiration from a traditional wing tip, the walnut and oxblood colorways pictures feature rich suede uppers built on a classic outsole, built for comfort. Both colors are now available from CLAE.

CLAE offers up a couple of new releases hitting retailers for the month of November. Featured in this drop are updated colorways in a couple of CLAE classics, including the McQueen and Khan. Both offer the brand’s classic, refined style while never becoming overly dressing. For those interested, they are now available online via Sole Heaven.

The Strayhorn, a new Clae shoe inspired by a classic desert boot, now comes in black leather and umber suede with a contrast red brick sole. With a mid-top height and low-profile sole, these stand out among other similar styles. Now available at clae.com, with more from the second delivery of Fall 2010 sneakers.

Having seen the grey colorway last month, we now get a peek into another option for Fall 2010 in CLAE’s Stayhorn. The shoes pair a classic chukka boot style with sneaker elements, adding yet another classy silhouette under the CLAE roster. These are now available through the HUF online store in both brown and the aforementioned grey suede colorway.
