With a history spanning over 150 years, Italian hat makers Borsalino have become a well-known and respected purveyor of various items such as hats, ties, clothing, watches, perfumes and old-fashioned bicycles. Teaming up with Junya Watanabe COMME des GARCONS, the two parties produce a fedora comprised of Belgian rabbit fur. With minimal branding, the hat comes in a navy colorway. The hat should hit select retailers in the near future with a suggested retail price of of ¥40,950 (approximately $490 USD).

The Junya Watanabe COMME des GARCONS MAN line are no strangers to Tricker’s as the two create a new footwear offering with a model titled the Short Boot. The style incorporates both boot and sneaker sensibilities with a black cowhide upper and red lining. Brogue details accentuate the upper which will retail for ¥52,500 (approximately $630 USD).

A nice new jacket has released from the COMME des GARÇONS JUNYA WATANABE MAN Fall/Winter 2010 Collection. The Wool Hopsack Duffle Coat brings together a warm down jacket with accents of the classic duffle coat. Further details can be found on the lining of the jacket and hood. For Holiday 2010 Comme des Garcons eYe Junya Watanabe worked once again with New Balance on a sneaker collaboration. This season they chose to work on the 996 running sneaker. While they kept the upper in a classic light grey, they gave the entire sneaker a vintage and used look.

Collaborating once more with New Balance, COMME des Garcons’s Junya Watanabe has added these 996 models to his eYe range. The shoes have been distressed, giving the runners a ran-in, vintage appearance. Colored in a mix of greys complete with white accents and laces, the 996 is also composed of several materials including suede and mesh. Expect a release soon at eYe retailers worldwide.
